Fight for glory as an officer of the Royal Tierran Army in a rich, low-fantasy world where gunpowder and magic rule the battlefield. Choose a horse, pick a sergeant and lead a unit of Royal Dragoons through five years of brutal war. Battle your enemies with your mind, your wits or with pistol and sword. Earn the loyalty of your subordinates and the friendship of your fellow officers, or betray them for your own gain. As armies, heroes and philosophies clash in the forests of the north, your choices could mean the difference between everlasting glory and an ignominious death.

Pros and cons of Sabres of Infinity app for iPhone and iPad

Sabres of Infinity app good for

Without a doubt my favourite author of this type of writing and my favourite of all his work so far. Playing the sequel now.
By far the best and my favorite novel game of all time. Please make a 3rd!!!
Quite simply the best interactive story I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The choices are excellently thought out, and they have real consequence. In addition they are both realistic and well written. If you pick no other work from choice of games then choose this.
A compelling story in a very richly detailed world with an interesting dynamic to boot. Do you go for personal glory in honor to the King? Or are you a father to your men, ensuring their loyalty to you in the dark days to come? Trying to balance the responsibilities of leadership while navigating the complicated hierarchy of your fellow nobility is a challenge indeed, one which you may not survive with your reputation intact. Four solid stars. If you like the fighting fantasy line of books then this one is for you, overall an excellent addition to the Hosted Games lineup.
A wonderful read where the choices were naturally woven into the story. I cannot wait for the upcoming installment to this well crafted game.
Great adventure game novel. Interesting story keeps you wanting more.

Some bad moments

Its very well written, in fact its one of the best of the CHOICE of Games library. However, I highly dislike how youre forced into a specific role in this one, taking away the, ahem, CHOICE, which goes against everything I love in these games. For that reason, its one of my least favorites. Again, the only reason its not 1 star is because its well written.
I have played most of the choice of games. This is one of my favorites. I played through multiple times until I finally earned all three medals. Looking forward to part 2.
This is probably the best game that has come out of Choice of Games. The story is well-written and detailed. The choices matter to what happens later and how well you do. I am also very pleased that this story doesnt try to tailor itself or its world to some peoples "progressive" notions. You may not like that you are unable to play as a woman, but it makes so much sense in the context. Anything different would take away from the quality of the story (as I feel it has in several of the others). In all, this game is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. I dont normally write to authors about how much I like their work, but this story is so good that I had to. I have been looking forward to the sequel ever since I finished. Hopefully it will come out soon.
Sorely disappointed at the end of the story in which all my "choices" lead to my certain death regardless of which I selected in various combination. Ive played every CoG out there, and this is well written, however I find the inescapable ending for my playthrough unenjoyable. This is my first review on any app, and Im utterly disappointed.
Theres a glitch in the beginning. If you try to build charisma early on it doesnt matter because it drops 25% when you choose to eat alone(you have no other options) kind of takes away from the replay value a little bit. Still a great game but that needs fixing asap
I have a book suggestion: can hosted games please write a book with the theme as the American revolutionary war? That would be so cool. Thanks!
